Q. What size bins do you supply?
We have a range of bin sizes from 2m3 through 20m3. More details are found on the Skip Bin Sizes page.
Q. How much notice is required to hire a skip bin?
We offer same day delivery if you call before 11am, otherwise 24 hours is all we need.
Q. What types of payment are accepted?
We accept cash, cheques and major credit cards as payment for skip bin hire. Please note that credit card payments attract a 1.5% surcharge.
Q. To what level can the skip bins be filled?
The skip bins should not be filled over the brim - this is an Occupational Health & Safety stipulation.
Q. What are the skip bin weight limits?
All bins have different weight limits. For limits on the bin you are hiring, please ask one of our friendly staff for the exact weight before hiring.
Q. Where can the bins be placed?
The driver will do their best to get the bin in the exact location you desire, within reason. Skip bins can be placed on the road or nature strip but a council permit will need to be obtained, of which we handle for you and simply pass back the cost.
Q. What cannot be placed in the bins?
Foods, oil, paint, any liquid wastes, hazardous wastes and asbestos. Tyres and Mattresses can be collected at additional cost.
Q. How long is the hire period?
Skip Bins are usually hired for 2 to 3 days.
Q. What happens if a bin is overloaded?
If the skip bin is filled over the brim of the bin but can be transported safely it can be removed at additional cost. For more information see the Overfilled Skip Bins page.
Q. What happens if a bin is overweight?
As an example, if a skip bin is filled with material from a building or construction site such as dirt, concrete and bricks or similar, it is likely to be overweight. If the bin is overweight we will work with you to resolve the situation in the most cost effective way - this may involve additional fees.
Q. What days of the week do you deliver and pick up?
We can deliver and pick up skip bins 5 and 1/2 days a week. Monday to Friday, between 7am and 4pm and between 7am to 12 noon Saturdays.
